Growth percentiles (pediatrics)

Growth percentiles are reference curves that place a child weight, height, or BMI relative to the population of the same age and sex, expressed as a percentile (e.g. P50 = median).
In pediatric nutrition, references such as WHO or other validated curves are used depending on the clinic context.
Pediatric software should record measures over time, overlay curves, and flag deviations without replacing clinical judgment.
